He has a very calm presence, quietly waiting for attention and sitting immediately when the treats come out! He is very sweet waiting for his turn. He is a cuddle buddy, and would do well with an older dog or snuggling up on the couch to watch a movie. He is also very good in his crate, quiets down quickly. He learned very quickly that 'go to bed' means go into his crate. He runs right into his crate and waits patiently for his treat.
He has a very sweet and calm temperament.

TRAINING ACTIVITIES
- He sleeps through the night, does not potty in his crate.
- He is doing well walking on a loose leash.
- He does not jump or whine, when he wants attention he sits and wags his curly tail.
- He has learned to sit for a treat, and we ask him to sit before going outside to play.
- He is treated like family. We keep him on a leash inside with us at all times. He cooks with us, watches TV, and lounges in his bed when I'm working.
- He is around the adult dogs, and has playtime with our young adult Daisy.
- He is very good at fetch, and will bring the toy right over. We play fetch with stuffed toys or balls, not always just the same toy.
- We have cats, one of which likes to cuddle with him.
- We have family coming in and out of the house all the time, he is used to lots of different sounds in and people in the house.
Indy has learned lots of basic manners. He does not jump on you for attention. When I am working and he is on his bed, he is learning to chew only on his bone or toy. If I'm not paying attention, he will try to chew on the leash.
INDY'S TEMPERAMENT
- Indy is such an observant and calm puppy. In this photo he is relaxing in the lobby at the vet!
- We got to the vet a little early to sit in the lobby and get used to the new area. He didn't care at all, and just laid down to observe the people and animals.
- He even let the vet give him some belly rubs and extra treats.
- With this vet visit, Indy is now fully vaccinated and ready to start exploring our local parks!
- Indy is going to be a wonderful easy going dog when he grows up.

Gateway Labradoodles is dedicated to producing the highest quality labradoodle, both in temperament and health. We carefully choose our breeding dogs, with the assistance of Shadow Mountain Labradoodles and our vet. We aim to better the breed, and produce consistent quality doods for the perfect family companion.
Not all doodles are created equal! The Australian Labradoodle was created to enhance the most desired qualities of the original labradoodle (poodle x lab cross). These multi generational labradoodles are carefully selected for their temperament, health, coat, companionship, and intelligence. Our breeding dogs are all health tested and registered with ALAA, and all our puppies are registered with with ALAA.
The Australian Labradoodle is a wonderful family companion dog, which for us means that all our dogs (including the puppies) live in our home as part of the family. The short time we have with our puppies is crucial to their socialization and confidence going to a new home. All the activities and experiences we expose the puppies to is designed with YOU in mind. We recognize that our puppies are going to homes that will be different from the environment they are raised in, so we aim to provide a variety of activity that is appropriate to their age.

Shadow Mountain Australian Labradoodles is located in Southern California, and has been working with Australian Labradoodles for over 13 years. Pika is electric with joy. Her tail never stops wagging, and her tongue never stops licking. She is a bundle of fun, and loves all new things and all new people. She is the tiniest of the bunch, and she makes up for her size with her personality.

Ditto is a forever friend who is ready to play and run. He loves to be cuddled and loved, and is one of the first to ask for attention. He will be a great walking or hiking companion.

Dragon is the lazy boy of the bunch. He is such a sweet slow little guy who loves to lay in bed. He is a little more reserved, and waits to see what the other puppies do in new situations. He is going to be the perfect quiet companion.
