Retired Breeder Available

        Freya is a 2 year old wonderful mini female who is available for adoption. Freya is looking for a family who loves to go on regular walks and hikes. She is a dream to walk with, as she is always aware of where you are and is an expert at keeping right next to you. When there is a wild animal worth chasing, she thinks you will help her to chase it and will run to the end of the leash. Occasionally she will bark at other dogs or people, usually when she doesn't see them coming or if they are running towards you.

        Freya is incredibly intelligent and easy to teach new tricks. She would love a family who can continue to teach her more complicated commands. With clear and consistent direction, she picks up quickly and will retain the commands she has learned. 

        Freya's dream home is one where she is the only dog and can be the center of attention. She is comfortable around cats, and will not chase them or bother them at all. Freya will not allow the cats to cuddle with her, we have one cat who loves all the dogs, but Freya does not appreciate the attention from the cat. She will either ignore him, or leave the room.

        She loves to wander the fenced yard for any signs of squirrels, bunnies, or birds to chase. The wildlife all knows the sound of our door opening, and scurries off before the dogs even get a chance to run out the door. Freya still sniffs every inch of her yard, just to be sure. She would be most comfortable in a home with a yard, so she can continue her routine.

        Freya has had limited experiences with young children, and would be most comfortable in a home with older children or adults only.
